xml sitemap XXL

Biggest sitemap ever! (We're not sure; if you have seen a bigger one let us
know). We were challenged to create a sitemap for
mamob.com
which has around
5,200,000 actual pages! The sitemap.index.xml points to
97 different compressed sitemap files with 45,000 urls each.
The total size of this sitemap is
35 megabytes (compressed with gzip -9)
or
673 megabytes uncompressed!.
Googlebot did come by to download
all sitemap files.
(Note: Generating this sitemap was not done with the tools you can find on
this site but we created some custom scripts to get data from databases and file systems)
